Naked Burglar Steals Photo Frame

A householder disturbed a naked burglar who had broken into his home. A man wearing no clothing entered the house in Meon Close, Clanfield, Hampshire, through a downstairs lounge window between 3am and 3.30am last Saturday. The burglar began searching downstairs before he was confronted by the home-owner. The thief stole a photo frame before leaving through the front door.

Detective Constable Mark McGreevy, of Hampshire police, said: “This is obviously a very unusual case, where the suspect has entered the property naked and has fled from the scene.

“Despite the early hour, there is a good chance anyone in the area would have noticed a naked man in the streets.” A 20-year-old man and a 14-year-old boy, both from Waterlooville, have been arrested in connection with the burglary.
